More work needed to help GPs educate patients about healthy choices

Are GPs getting enough information and education for overweight or obese patients? Professor Mark Harris, director of the Centre for Obesity Management and Prevention Research Excellence in Primary Health Care (COMPaRE-PHC) joined joined the discussion at the "Think: Health" on 2SER on 5th July.
The program looks at the interaction between socio-economic status, health literacy and obesity. It also explores the role GPs play, as a frontline health service, in educating and helping their patients to beat the bludge.
