Masters by Research scholarship with COMPaRE-PHC.

Expressions of interest are called for a Masters by Research Scholarship with COMPaRE-PHC.

The Centre for Obesity Management, Prevention and Research Excellence in Primary Health Care (COMPaRE-PHC) has been funded by the Australian Primary Health Care Research for four years from July 2012 to June 2016. It is a collaboration between six institutions: the University of New South Wales (UNSW), University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Deakin University, Adelaide University, and Inala Indigenous Health Service. COMPaRE-PHC will evaluate and translate new ways of managing overweight and obesity across the lifecycle and among disadvantaged groups by primary health care services in Australia.

Two scholarships for Masters by Research are being offered. The scholarships can be based at any of the partner institutions; however preference will be given to applicants who wish to study with University of Queensland (working with Inala Indigenous Health Service in Brisbane) or Adelaide University. People interested in this area of research are invited to lodge an expression of interest in the first instance
