CPHCE at a Glance

The UNSW Research Centre for Primary Health Care Equity (CPHCE) provides a focus for primary health care and health equity related research, evaluation and development.

Bringing together previous research groups within the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales Australia, the CPHCE makes important contributions to the field of primary health care and equity locally, nationally and internationally.

CPHCE employs more than 30 full time equivalent staff, who work across three research theme areas incorporating more than 30 research projects.

At Randwick the Centre is located with the Faculty of Medicine in the AGSM building. The Executive Director, CEO and Finance Manager are based here, as are the Chronic Disease Prevention and Managment and Primary Health Care research streams, although these work across the Centre. There are also staff affiliated with the Centre who are based in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
