Professor Mark Harris elected as a fellow to the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences

Professor Harris joins a distinguished group of scientists, clinicians and educators elected to the academy that aims to provide Australian Government, industry and the community with nonpartisan advice on issues relating to evidence based medical practice and research in Australia.

The fellows are chosen for their distinguished professional achievement in a field related to health and/or medicine. Mark undoubtedly manifested his suitability by exercising his outstanding leadership in the science of health and medicine and a continuing involvement with issues of health care, prevention of disease, education, research, health services policy and delivery.
